Painless (2015) – Episode 10 and Final Thoughts

As we come to the end of the drama and all of the Fall season shows are ending; Painless ended as you expected. There were no surprises and I found the ending to be quite tame. However, I will not say I was disappointed by the entire drama. For cast and synopsis information see Episode 1)

Painless (2015) – Episode 9

I don’t believe anyone who has watched this from the beginning is surprised by the outcome. First, Detective Hayase and his inability to listen to anyone-check. Dr. Shirokami and his involvement in Ibara’s actions-check. The chase after Ibara and Satomi-check. Dr. Tameyori coming to the realization of what is truly going on-check. As the drama heads to the finale, not sure we are going to be in for many surprises…or are we? For cast and synopsis information see Episode 1)

Painless (2015) – Episode 8

The mystery continues with the new medical drugs to cure people of pain. But what is on everyone’s mind is how involved is Satomi in the murder of the Ishikawa family and will she finally talk? For cast and synopsis information see Episode 1)

Painless (2015) – Episode 7

While this was one of the slowest moving episode, it was full of information that will carry the drama until the end. From Dr. Shirokami to Ibara; all are covered. But we say good bye to Kurume, Tameyori’s mentor and friend. (For cast and synopsis information see Episode 1)

Painless (2015) – Episode 6

I knew there was something crazy about Ibara! But how crazy comes out for all of us to see. Another new mystery of is there a connection between Sada and the family murders and, what exactly does Dr. Shirakami have in those pain suppressant pills that he is trying to get FDA approval for? Painless (2015) Episode 5

This drama just keeps getting better and better. Finally we get to see more on the case of the family murdered brutally. Dr. Takashima’s ex boyfriend is truly off his rocker and insight into Satomi is revealed. (For cast and synopsis information see Episode 1)

Painless (2015) Episode 4

The Eye for Signs. That is the translated meaning of Mieru Me of the title. This episode really focused on some background information on Dr. Takashima who turns out to be a counselor/therapist. Plus we got to learn all about her stalker. Man has some severe issue. (For cast and synopsis information see Episode 1)

Painless (2015) Episode 3

I am seriously on a role here folks! I really do like this drama because the mysteries keep piling up and it really is less a medical and more a drama. Detective Hayase is some kind of crazy! Criminal intent tendencies? Yes he does! (For cast and synopsis information see Episode 1)

Painless (2015) Episode 2

We continue the drama with renewed interest in Dr. Tameyori Eisuke by both Hayase Junichiro and Dr. Shiragami Yoji. This episode also gives us a closer look into some of the supporting cast, especially Ibara (played by Nakamura Aoi) and Satomi (played by Hamabe Minami). Painless (2015) Drama Information and Episode 1

Also known as Mutsu Mieru Me is a new medical mystery drama on Fuji TV which started October 7, 2015. This features one of my favorite Japanese actors, Nishijima Hidetoshi (Mozu, Double Face). An addition to the cast is Ito Atsushi (Kazokugari and co-starred in Mozu, Double Face). Here’s information on episode 1.
