I want to take this time to wish everyone a Happy New Year! As we enter the new year, I’m wishing the best for everyone. 2017 had its ups and down as it became clear that I had no time to devote to my blog as I had wished. Between work and the ups/downs of my personal life, I really had no time.
So, will 2018 be any better? Probably not. For work, I have many major projects that have to be completed this year. There is no time allowed to let the schedules slide. Another thing is the sadness we are expecting as my mother’s last remaining younger sister is at the end of her life. Time is really precious and we really need to spend time with love ones when we can. This year also marks the 2 year anniversary of my beloved sister’s death. Again, death is expected but that doesn’t make it any easier to accept.
Regardless. I hope that every has a wonderful and prosperous New Year. I do plan on returning to review at least one movie each month and I still have several blog posts to complete or write. Here are some of those I plan to write…one day:
A Night with beWhy in Washington DC (Concert review)
Best of 2017 Japanese Dramas (Still watching a few so I’m not ready)
Best 2017 Movies (Chinese,Japanese, Korean)
U-Prince Series (What’s Good, Bad, and Ugly)
Taiga Japanese Dramas I’ve Enjoyed in 2017 (Tenchijin, Chuushingura no Koi)
Astro Fan Meet in Washington DC (Upcoming in February 2018)
You know, I have PURE love for both Jo Seung Woo and Bae Doo Na! It’s like an early Birthday and Christmas gift tied together to have these two in a drama together! I’m so looking forward to it and really hope it is picked up by someone! Hell! I’ll just watch it raw!!!
Well, this drama is starting off with a huge, beautifully shot, intense teaser that has me itching to solve whatever mystery Jo Seung Woo & Bae Doo Na are investigating. It is almost time to start another great weekend TvN drama and Forest of Secrets looks like it will be full of intrigue and gritty politicking. Just what I like in my suspense dramas.
I’ve pretty much have done a post for what I want to watch since last winter season, 2016. It never fails that I’m always disappointed at the number of dramas on my list I DON’T get to watch. I think this season will be full of disappointments also. There are some I would be surprised if they aren’t subbed (Crisis and Boku, Unmei no Hito desu) and some that I kind of want to watch even more (Hokuto and Bouncer); however, here is my official wish list for Spring 2017. Not that long as there really isn’t a lot I want to watch but these definitely bubble to the top of my must-see list. Continue reading “Spring 2017 J-Drama Wish List”→
Winter is approaching; we’re coming to the end of 2016 and once again, there are lots of dramas in store for us. With shows of various premises coming up this month and the next, it’s going to be two months filled with romance, comedy and melo. Most of the October dramas are airing starting next week, while the November premieres are scattered throughout the month. Are you excited? Let’s look into the choices!
Okay, it isn’t that I’ve been lazy and remiss in writing my movie reviews. My real life hasn’t been all rosy and puppy dog tails. Just when I get in the mood to watch a movie, there just isn’t enough satisfaction to write about it; however, instead of a review, how about me encouraging you to spend some money in support of Korean entertainment!
