It was the cast and their chemistry as well as comedic timing that made “The IT Crowd” so special. Not sure if this will work but stranger things have happened. Look at the success of “The Office” as well as “Shameless”. There have been a couple of other British remakes over the years that have had success. The long and short of it; the casting will make or break this show!

Now the prolific producer is looking to do the same for one of Bill Lawrence Headshot 2.14the most popular British comedy series of the past decade, The IT Crowd. In a competitive situation, a multi-camera U.S. version of Channel 4’s The IT Crowd from Lawrence, Community alums Neil Goldman & Garrett Donovan and Warner Bros. TV has landed at NBC with a put pilot commitment.

NBC also was the network that previously took a stab at an U.S. version of The IT Crowd. Salem Renewed for Season 2 at WGN America (2015)

As I was watching all of my other favorite (and few) US television shows that have returned in the last couple of weeks, there was one missing so I had to haunt the usual websites until I found the answer. Yes! Salem is coming back! But not until 2015! Damn long wait! Word is that it is slated for April 2015. I watch so little US television but what I do watch, I am totally faithful! I cannot wait!!

I’ve always been a lover of Asian movies as well as mini-series from all over the world. The next logical step in my revolution of TV watching made sense to be Asian dramas. I haven’t given up on US television by no means but what I watch is very specific genres: fantasy and crime; that is it. Never been a fan of reality television!! However, with 1 million subscribers, there is still a big hole when it comes to Japanese dramas. It’s time for the Japanese networks to get onboard!!

Wachowskis’ love Doona! Netflix Globe-Spanning Series ‘Sense8′ will star her!

Cast from their latest movies will be returning for the 8 episode drama to be featured exclusively on Netflix. The cast will International actors: British actors Aml Ameen (The Maze Runner, Lee Daniels’ The Butler) and Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who, Torchwood), Indian actress Tena Desae, South Korean actress Doona Bae, German actor Max Riemelt, Mexican actors Alfonso Herrera and Erendira Ibarra as well as Jamie Clayton, Miguel Silvestre and Terrence Mann.

Well the Wachowskis’ really do love our Doona Bae! I guess this means I WON’T be canceling my subscription anytime soon!! More news to come!!
