Synopsis: Soo-Hyun is a surgeon who doesn’t have much time left due to a serious illness. His wish is to see his girlfriend who died in an accident 30 years ago. The surgeon gets 10 pills, from a mysterious old man, that allow him to time-travel to the past. He decides to go and save his girlfriend, but there he meets his younger self…

Musings: I don’t know about you but I’ve wondered on many occsasions about “What if” I could go back in the past and tell myself NOT to do something. Or better yet, prevent an event from happening? But one thing that prevents you sometimes is the things that you have in the future that may, just maybe by changing the past, your future would change too drastically.

This movie did a great job of capturing and showing you the cause and effects of changing the past; or better yet, coming to the realization that you actually cannot because of the consequences. I really liked this movie for that reason. As expected, both leads (Kim Yoon Seok and Byun Yo Han) did an outstanding job of portraying the character Soo-hyun who had just as much to lose as to gain in changing the past. The writer did a great job of showing the conflict and the sorrow of every decision that Soo-hyun made or even decided not to change.

I just love time travel stories. Not only does this movie do it well but the costuming, haircuts and the time periods are accurately captured in this movie that is less than 2 hours long. Sure, not really heavy on the romance as it truly focuses on the two men. But we do get to see the relationships of these two men: past and present.

Great movie to enjoy. The acting is awesome, the story line is very precise and the precautionary tale is real. I enjoyed it immensely and I’m sure you will do! Especially with Byun Yo Han and his 80’s hairdo….MUAH! 😍
