Synopsis: Joon Ho is a third year high school student who just finished taking his university exam. His main interest is to sleep with Seo Yeong, his girlfriend, but, so far, she has turned him down.
Musings: I wondered hard whether to do this drama special because I didn’t want the wrong message to be mistaken; however, there is no way once you watch this that you could ever misinterpret what the writer was trying to convey: the benefits of abstinence!
Getting to that decision, Joon Ho definitely took the long road and I have to admit that it was funny to watch. You got to watch the pressure that he was under; whether it was self made or from friends, his final decision was precise and well made.
Every time I watch Lee Joo Seung in anything, I’m always amazed at how old he really is. His youthful looks at almost 28 are such to make his character as a high schooler convincible. I always enjoy this actor who generally plays small parts but leaves a big impression (watch Let’s Eat 2 and you’ll see what I mean).
Kang Min Ah, at a mere 19 years old, played well with her male counterpart. Together, these two convinced you of their young love and also just how smart she was in handling Joon Ho and his spiraling upward libido. Admittedly, first time watching her but she played well with her much older lead.
Overall, a great, drama special that definitely had a final message. I approve.
