Musings: I am a big Jeon Ji Hyeon movie fan! Wait, I am also a big Ha Jeong Woo fan!! So together, you would expect a very good movie. I admit, the first 20-30 minutes, I was a little bored as the movie was just getting started and the story line was being told; however, once the assassins made it to Korea and began their mission, this movie was extremely well done.
Gianna Jun as she is sometimes called did a wonderful job in what turned out to be a dual role! Not only does she play the assassin Ahn but also the identical twin sister that remained in Korea with the sadistic father played by Lee Kyeong Yeong. This is the time seeing Lee Kyeong Yeong in a role that you couldn’t help but despise.
As this is a period movie, there are a lot of violent scenes that you would expect in a movie that takes place during the volatile period of Korea in the 30s. The action was great as is the acting by all. Not a movie for everyone but the last hour is pure entertainment.
