My Top 10 Movies Watched for 2015


Here it is February and I just realized that I never posted about my favorite movies for 2015! Even I am shocked! I really have no excuse as I was off for 3 weeks into January; however, I did spend a lot of time reviewing the Japanese dramas that I liked last year. Shoot My Heart (2015)


Synopsis: Set at a psychiatric hospital. Soo-Myung has suffered from schizophrenia due to his guilt that he suffers from his mother’s suicide. He meets Seung-Min at the psychiatric hospital. Seung-Min has been forcibly hospitalized because of his wealthy family’s inheritance fight. Dreaming of getting out of the hospital, Seung-Min constantly tries to escape. Soo-Myung begins to follow Seung-Min.

Memories of the Sword (2015)


Synopsis:
Three warriors from the Goryo Dynasty, Poong-Chun, Deok-Ki and Seol-Rang pledge to fight for the impoverished people under the incompetent king and they lead a riot. However, due to Deok-Ki’s betrayal, Poong-Chun dies and Seol-Rang, as stricken by guilt, flees with Poong-Chun’s sword and his infant daughter, Hong-Yi. 18 years later, the female warrior is now blind and she trains the young woman in martial arts. Soon Seol-Rang reveals that she is the one who killed her parents. Hong-yi falls in utter shock, leaves Seol-Rang and plans to get revenge on both her and Deok-Ki, by now the most powerful man in the country. Soon blood will be shed.

Synopsis:
After an international auto theft sting, dimwitted detective Do-chul is treated to a night at a club where he meets Sun-jin Group third-in-line, Tae-oh, whose rude behavior rubs Do-chul the wrong way. Convinced Tae-oh is a drug addict, Do-chul tries to investigare, but is stopped by his boss. Meanwhile, Tae-ohruns into Mr. Bae – a truck driver that helped Do-chul with his auto theft case – an his 9-year-old son, protesting to get his overdue wages. After being humiliated and beaten for tae-oh’s amusement, Bae is hospitalized but his son finds Do-chul’s business card and calls for help. Do-chul feels responsible and so decides to get Tae-oh, no matter what it takes and no matter how much Tae-oh tries to sabotage him.

Synopsis:
