Final Thoughts: Best Daily Drama for 2014 – Cheongdamdong Scandal

It is hard to believe with all of the daily dramas I’ve watched, this is the first drama that I’ve seen from beginning to end without English subs! But what makes this drama so different than the others is like its previous predecessors for revenge dramas like Thorn Flower and the infamous Yellow Boots, this drama actually rivals those two in their brilliance and completeness of story.

What is amazing about this drama, after the first 10 episodes, I wanted to shoot the lead female, Baek Yaya and drop this drama like it was a hot potato! Little did I know that by episode 60, I was totally in love with this drama and had a better respect for Yaya. They say knowing is understanding but also a little pain brings forth common sense! That is what has transpired as you watch this drama. Writing that has been tightly woven and a revenge that at times hurts your heart but at the same time you understand. That is Apgujeong Midnight Sun in a nutshell!

Martin Clunes Announces “Doc Martin” Season 7!

How did I miss this news? And how is it my internet non-savvy sister told me about it? This is a first!! Well I’m excited! There were ups and downs with Season 6 and the ending wasn’t what any of us wanted to see. So, here’s hoping the next season will be better, even if it turns out to the the last!

In an article in the The New York Times, Martin Clunes announces there will be a Season 7 of “Doc Martin” in 2015! YEAH!!

See this statement in the last paragraph of the article:

“The show will shoot a seventh season in 2015, but Mr. Clunes said that is likely to be the last one, given the challenges of not repeating story lines. ‘As much as I’d love to keep on doing it, I just don’t know if we can. It might become a soap opera.'”
