Byung Hun’s has previously appeared in the Hollywood movies “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”, “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” and “Red 2”. His agency BH Entertainment, made a statement on Tuesday that, “Lee signed up to join the cast in February and filming will start in May”. Byung-hun Lee’s role is being kept a secret, and some have speculated he might be playing a new Terminator in the film.

The movie, which is being produced by Skydance and Paramount, is the fifth in the classic Terminator series that has captured the imaginations of people (including myself)for decades with the original casting of star Arnold Schwarzenegger.

This movie has recently been titled Terminator: Genesis. “Genesis” is the first installment of a reboot trilogy. The film will be the first in the trilogy that will be a continuation of the story that was started by James Cameron. It will include several ideas from the previous Terminator movies, and in the process give old fans a chance to revisit the story as well as introduce the series to new fans.

Schwarzenegger skipped the fourth movie because he was serving as the governor of California, but will be back in the lead role. The film is scheduled to be released next year.

Other cast members include Emilia Clarke best known as Daenerys Targaryen in the “Game of Thrones” series has been cast as Sarah Connor. Also Jason Clarke best known  as Tommy Caffee in the Brotherhood series.

My Thoughts
My oldest daughter will tell you how BIG a fan of The Terminator movies (and series) I’ve always been. She will also tell you this was her first movie ever! I had this bad habit of training my children when young to being accustomed to noise. I also used it as a distraction so I could go about my business. I know, bad mother But it worked! Chances of seeing this in the movie theater are slim but this will definitely be on the “Buy and Watch List“.
